Record Export for Australian Citrus

Australia has set a new record for exported Citrus, with a combined value of A$328.5M being supplied to export markets around the globe.

Oranges made up the majority of value being $223M whilst mandarins are gaining more ground with sales of $95M. (Source: http://www.citrusaustralia.com.au/news/latest-news/new-record-for-citrus-exports)

The export volumes and values have progressively moved forward over the last three seasons as more fruit is moving to traditional markets to high value markets within Asia.

The Citrus industry needs to continue the drive to provide top quality to all markets to maximise returns for all.
